First and foremost do not purchase this item from TRUST2WORLD. Item was defective and although AMAZON is great enough to provide the A-Z claim process, seller does not answer requests for refunds, replacements.
Second, be very very careful during installation. I actually cracked my LCD screen in the process of trying to separate it from the metal frame that holds it. It's a requirement in order to replace the digitizer. I have actually read on other forums that it's better to purchase the digitizer and lcd screen already assembled together. I think you can do it, just don't force it like i did and take your time. also the plastic tools will get you there but i think sharp metal blade may be more beneficial.

Item works flawlessly. I saw a lot of posts complaining about dead spots. Are you sure you had the connector seated properly? It is a bit tricky to get it fully in the connector and straight. If it is not fully inserted and perfectly straight you will have issues. Five stars for this product!
