I can't speak for all phones but I had bought a accessory bundle for my phone and this was in it. I had actually thrown it aside and had no intention of using it. At home my phone had a consistent 1 bar. I figured I would give it a try, couldn't hurt anything. I applied it just as instructed under the battery in the direction of the antenna. After putting back in the batter I was amazed that my phone now showed an extra bar and was toggling on a third! That's a 1.5 bar increase! I am actually very surprised. I had bought one like this a few years ago and put it in a Motorola phone. I did not notice any improvement then. However, I can say without a doubt this has increased my signal strength. A solid extra bar+ is amazing. No, I am not a seller or have any affiliation with this product at all. I am just someone who was skeptical and got board and decided to try it. I cannot say how it will work on other types of phones but as for my HTC Fuze, it definitely works! The antenna of the Fuze runs just underneath the sticker with the serial number and phone info which is located underneath the batter. It is off-centered to the right if you are looking at the compartment. The instructions state to place it on top of the area where the antenna is located in the same direction. It also states not to touch the sticky side of the booster and not to touch any of the circuitry or internal components. This was easy on my phone as it contains a descent size battery. The booster is about 1.5" long. If your compartment is not that wide from bottom to top then I do not think it would work correctly for your phone. If your compartment is large enough, just run your finger over the sticker located under the batter and feel for a slight bulge. The phone antenna is actually a thin ribbon that is (at least for my phone) located just under that sticker and can easily be felt and located. Anyways, all I can tell you is it definitely does work at least for the HTC Fuze. I will be buying a couple more and testing them on a couple of different types of phones. I will update with my findings.
This thing is completely worthless. Its a sticker with some gold paint on it that resembles a circuit board. Youd probably have better luck sticking a piece of aluminum foil in your phones battery compartment. Does not do anything! If I could give this a zero I would.
